Planning your weeks meals can be really helpful, in saving you time and money. By planning what you will eat, you can ensure you only buy what you need while you are food shopping.
To start your weeks meal plan, take a look through your fridge, freezer and cupboards and write down what you have. Next write down the meals you can make from what you still have.
Now you know how many meals you still need to buy for,you can make your shopping list.
We all have our go to meals every week but if your getting fed up of looking for inspiration, a good tip is to use the BBC good website/app. You can type in just one ingredient and it will give you lots of recipes using that ingredient.
I also get food inspiration from Youtube & Instagram.
To make my shopping list I use an App on my phone, which allows me to make up to 9 different lists and to tick off items as I get them. I love this as I always have my phone to hand and can quickly add something to my list when I Think of it.
There are some great meal planner books in shops such as Poundland, B&M's and Home Bargains. I a!so use a whiteboard, hung on my kitchen wall and my family like that they can see what's for dinner.
